Who names a website “Cuil”
It took me ten minutes to figure out how to pronounce the word, and then when I go to use it, I find out that I wish I didn’t know how to say it.
When a search engine, indexing over 120 billion websites says this:
No results because of high load…
Due to excessive load, our servers didn’t return results. Please try your search again.
i think to myself, “I will never use this.” And that is all.
Let me tell you what industries there is no room for competition in. Search Engines, Social Networking (Or fileshare. That was to you, Pownce), Blogging, Forums, Cars, Computer Building, and that new “Million Dollar” idea you have been thinking about for the last ten years. No room.

You need to show more understanding. They are a new start-up and they have been buzzed and hyped today so much that even Google’s servers wouldn’t be able to take all thees visitors at the same time.
Cuit is probably the only search engine out there that stands a fighting chance against Google in the near future.

You’re kindof right. Actually you are right. I understand that they are getting a lot of hits, and I also understand that they are a new startup, but there are a lot of issues with it. I got that same message several times during my browsing. I also found their searches some what irrelevant. I don’t know much about the service, but I will try it more. It may just be, as far as the irrelevancy goes, an algorithm that needs time to incorporate more knowledge into the results over time. ( Kinda like google page rank)
